Remote work is possible following initialization and getting up to speed with the project and team requirements.

What you do – tasks and responsibilities:
We are looking for a Java developer with strong knowledge of SQL databases to join a small team and contribute to the upgrade of an established client solution/system.

• Expand an existing web-based client/server application and build new features
• Participate in the full development life-cycle – from planning, requirements gathering and analysis, to testing, integration and support
• Debug and fix issues in the server side and database of the application
• Perform database administration ensuring integrity of data and high level of system availability
• Apply high quality standards in Java coding while meeting schedules and objectives

What you need – requirements:

• At least 3 years in server-side development: Java, Spring framework, Hibernate
• At least 3 years with SQL and stored procedures, specifically PostgreSQL
• Experience with REST API Concepts and Client-Server communication
• Experience with Source control stack (preferably GIT and Bitbucket)
• Experience with build tools such as Maven
• Team player and collaborator with good communication skills
• Good working abilities in English

  In addition to the above must-have skills, the below add value and will be taken into consideration too:

• Experience with client-side development: React 16+/Redux, JavaScript ES6+, HTML, CSS is an asset
• Experience with bundle tools such as Webpack and Babel is an asset
