Challenge

European Aviation Safety Agency has been facing the challenge to maintain and improve its Business Process Management System, as well as to establish the full secured Business-IT architecture management system (both with ARIS tool). The ensuring of effective and efficient integration between Business Processes and Business-IT architecture was also needed.

Solution

Latona has been providing a set of services, including Management services, Take-over and hand-over services, Architecture and strategy services, Business analysis and modelling services, ARIS Support services. The company has been providing technical maintenance of the ARIS platform of EASA, as well as its Enterprise Architecture landscape. Methodological and technical update / customization of the existing products to improve the user experience has been delivered. Further development of the Business and the IT Architecture of the Agency by extending the ARIS implementation and the Process Management paradigm has been also implemented.

In the long term, the main goals of the project are to ensure the sustainability of the ARIS implementation by the provision of technical maintenance of the ARIS system and to extend the acceptance of the process management approach within the organization (based on the TEMPO methodology).
